A brief history of RTC
RTC (Real Time Communications) was formed back in 2001 by Tim Baumfield and Mike Whitney, who had previously worked together on differing automotive projects. It was a classic case of spotting a gap in the market and trying to fill it!
Like many software businesses, the early days were tough, as products were developed and early customers nurtured. But the appetite displayed by the dealerships that were early adopters convinced Tim and Mike that they were on the right path.
