Data & Insight Analyst

Location: Bury Office (Temporarily Remote)

Job Purpose

As a data and insight analyst you will be responsible for understanding our data & reporting mechanisms & systems in order to help identify business intelligence for RTC and our customers.  As a key team player you will be able to help illuminate previously undiscovered issues, opportunities for growth, insights across different facets of a business, and how it might improve at all levels.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Applying statistical models to complex data;
  • Maintain and improve the company’s management information reports (KPIs);
  • Understand the key drivers of dealer site performance and identify opportunities for improvement;
  • Utilise data analysis and data mining techniques to help the business understand the diverse dealer customer database;
  • Devise and implement A/B tests where relevant to challenge, measure and communicate results;
  • Support the reporting of our dealer customers performance across a range of areas;
  • Create and deliver a range of reports to internal and external teams;
  • Support the business analytically on BAU performance reporting & analysis;
  • Develop your skills and knowledge and share with others to improve the standard of data analysis across the business;
  • Apply Mathematical Modelling and Statistical analysis to segment dealer customer groups accordingly;
  • Communicate complex MI to a non-statistical audience, present conclusions from analysis to enhance decision making with stakeholders;
  • Providing effective and relevant media at a relevant time;
  • Create and maintain a suite of dashboards to ensure teams have accurate and actionable data;
  • Adhoc data reporting requests.
  • Maintains a high state of integrity and professionalism in carrying out the duties and responsibilities of this position;
  • Be professional, organised and always represent the company in the best way possible.
